Head in the clouds

Okay, soooo painting in photoshop. Now that I look at this again, I would probably make the clouds a little bulkier, because it looks funny from far away. But whatever! I find it hard to paint in photoshop, and this time I think it turned out pretty well! I can see how much I've improved in the past few weeks and it feels good :)
Oh ya, and we had to add a castle silhouette in the front...I had 3 minutes left so I scribbled out the garbage you see on one of these. (we also only had 20 minutes to do this)

Okay, so I went through a terrible dry spell. I had a week and a bit where everything that I drew was just, well, terrible. But I found some stuff to post.

I just finished writing my kid's book! I posted a possible layout on the previous post...
I'm really excited about it. I'm roughing out all of the drawings right now and hopefully I will get it done just after the olympic break!!!
I have other projects on the go as well for that same class, but I just want to finish this book so that I have time to print it, so it is top priority.

Designs and colour keys for the kids book I am writing for my final project. I don't like all the keys...i got lazy on a couple. but I DO want my main kid to have red hair and the white jersey.

This was my christmas card this year. it comes with blue hearted and pink hearted underwear. I originally had a present in the corner that was ripped open, but I could not draw torn paper...so screw it! I got a few laughs out of it and a few gross faces (which is what I wanted muahahah) so I guess it was a success.

hope everyone had a great holiday! I did. it was the best EVER! (although I did NO drawing...)

the semester is OVER

wow...so the semester is over. I feel...strange. I wish that this program were 3 years long...I really dont feel like I am where I would like to be just yet! But I guess we can ALWAYS get better. Anyway, here I am on friday night drinking wine and...DUN DUN DUNNNNNNN: DRAWING! (for myself). What can I say, I'm bored!

So many things to say. it's okay, but it didnt turn out how I wanted. i wish I did the cleanup differently, maybe in flash.
